gap between what employees want and what employers offer in India. While gender
differences between men and women on the top three aspects were minimal, women,
however, attributed more importance to salary and benefits (49%) and work-life
balance (47%) compared to their male counterparts who ranked these as the top

level where 584 students from Class X, 1531 from Class XI, 1477 from Class XII,

Imagine Education (UK) in 2015 to provide teacher training in India. MBD Disha

inception, when the Institute accepted managerial issues related to
agriculture, food, and other developmental sectors as part of its thrust

Graduate Programme with Specialization Package in Agriculture (PGP-SPA) was
started in 1974. In 2000, IIMA revamped the programme after a review of the

Management was launched in 2000. More than 1,27,000 candidates apply for this Programme
and only about 46 candidates are selected with a rigorous selection process

programme curriculum has a solid managerial foundation, focused on food and
agribusiness marketplace. It includes compulsory management courses in the
first year and is common with the Post Graduate Programme of the Institute. The
second year of the programme includes compulsory as well as elective courses
designed to have specialized multifunction knowledge and skill required by food
and agribusiness sector. Rural Immersion Module (RIM) also helps students to
spend about three weeks in rural areas. The students have the opportunity to
meet the rural community, know their lifestyle, values and help them carry out
project on issues of socio economic nature. The students exchange programme is
also offered in collaboration with four foreign universities, ESSEC B School,
France, University of British Columbia, Canada, Norwegian School of Economics,
Norway, and Antai College, China with a view to enhance the international
exposure for the PGP-FABM students. Students spend about one term (10-12 weeks)
at the foreign university.</span></div>
